I hold an MSt in the History of Art from the University of Oxford, where I specialised in Islamic and South Asian art. My academic training informs a research-led studio practice that moves between photography, painting, and design, examining the emotional and psychological relationships between individuals and their material environments.
Working across mediums, I am particularly focused on the interplay between image, memory, and space. My practice engages with material culture not only as subject matter but as a framework for exploring intimacy, displacement, and belonging. Through photography and painting, I investigate how objects, interiors, and architectural forms mediate personal and collective histories.
My work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art Lahore, Old fire Station in Oxford, Campus Condorcet in Paris, LabCultural Barcelona, and Madrid. I was runner-up for the inaugural Art Prize at Wolfson College, Oxford.
Alongside my studio practice, I have served as Artistic Director at Studio Lel and as Curator for the British Council Art-funded international artist residency in Islamabad (2025), where I led curatorial strategy and conceptual development initiatives.
I am currently based in Oxford, UK.

I often change my skillset and style- switching between documentary photography and dramatic still life-to explore different narratives and symbolisms. Some of the past themes I have explored are war, identity, belonging, displacement, home, and nostalgia.
