Flora Fauna and merryweather
The garden functions as both subject and site within my practice. At once muse and archive. It is the landscape where my early creative imagination took shape, and it continues to inform my work as a space of reflection, cultivation, and care. As a contemporary practitioner working across cultures, I understand it as a constructed space. In contrast to the instability and inequities of the wider world outside of it’s confines , the garden offers a practical and achievable act of resistance. An attempt to create beauty and balance amid disorder.
